For now, I removed the newest Acrobat and reloaded a perpetual 2017 version and it is working again. Clearly something in the last Acrobat Update or maybe a combo of it with Windows Update.

Is the original document already an excel spreadsheet? and in this function that e-mails the document you also want to "save As" the document?

This is what we use in one of our vba apps, it saves the excel to a new name in another folder.

I really wish that I could. but the cost of flights and my limit to only 30 days a year in the country on my tax status is very hard to work with for anything but visiting family. I'm super bummed about it.

I ended up putting a wireless card in that PC for now...quickest fix when I have so much else to do...not sure why the onboard card decided to act up.

Well it does help me as I am still in a SOLO IT shop after 11 years...don't have time to code a website...

You don't code websites, you use tools like Hugo or Gatsby if you need something simple, or WordPress if you need a CMS.

One of the reasons those tools are recommended for businesses is the time savings.

It might actually help now, there's every possibility that it might actually be faster to move to something else than to troubleshoot Wix where you are dependent on their support.

Well, it also helps that the owners daughter wants control of website too so this is another reason I did Wix about 5-6 years ago.

That makes sense. WordPress is typically used specifically for that too, but doesn't tie you in to a vendor-only supported product where the host owns the site that you make. WP keeps you from being able to be extorted for support or whatever. That's its purpose (to allow easy editing by a staff of people.) Since WP is the best known tool, it's the one that best allows random third party people to be involved.

Definitely seems odd to pick Wix over WP.

Maybe they already knew it (the daughter). Wix is definitely my #1 platform to avoid. It's been the bane of the web since its inception. Just a totally shit product and lots of people avoid companies that host with it as being similar to using hotmail email instead of your domain.

We now have 6 people who work out of state. 4 in Texas, 1 in California and 1 in Maryland. They all have domain connected laptops that I pre-configure with our applications before they get them and they connect to our VPN via the build in VPN connector in Windows 10/11. You should do some basic investigation so you know what you should expect.

For instance:

What is the speed in/out of your internet link to your VPN server? What traffic comes in/goes out over this link besides VPN traffic? Do you have any traffic shaping in the firewall?

It's very possible that low priority internet traffic, from clients in the office, is starving your VPN link of bandwidth.

Extenders aren't really the answer.

If you can't do real ethernet - I'd consider using ethernet over Power to get another or two wired level APs around that place.

You've mentioned that the construction is rather dense - you're halving the max bandwidth each time you setup an extender (half of max for a given extender, etc) - moving back to wired will bring about your best results.

Probably because it was on by default when things were set up. You do not normally even see that screen when setting things up.

Craziest thing...that program called CONFIG TOOL just decided to discover everything...was able to find cameras, give them a proper IP, used the IP of the network card on the Milestone system as GATEWAY address and I am halfway through this converstion now... 🙂
