Iceberg Wedge Salad
I'm not sure what that is but it sounds like a new ice cream or york peppermint patty.
Literally iceberg lettuce cut into a wedge.
The price for that is probably high.

RE: Server Time Zone configuration
Doesn’t it depends if you are using Linux or Windows?

Holy cow... I think I'm going to like Ansible.
Just wrote my own playbook to set up a LAMP server on Debian ... and it was easy. Even easier to me than using SaltStack.
You can get started faster since you don't have to worry about needing to install an agent first.

I'm using Cockpit and it's ok for basic maintenance. But can't get it create the VM on the 2nd drive.
By default when creating a VM using cockpit, your VMs will be located in the following locations depending on what you select for QEMU/KVM connections.
QEMU/KVM System Connection
/var/lib/libvirt/images/vm.qcow2QEMU/KVM User Connection
~/.local/share/libvirt/images/vm.qcow2Virt-Manager makes it easier to select a different storage pool for your VMs.

Also, for the record, the RDS server is fully up to date, and non-1803 clients seem to all be fine and normal.
Was any of those 1803 clients were upgraded from 1709? Maybe a graphics driver issues?

Updated my management PC to 1803. Now I can't connect properly with Hyper-V Manager.
Do you need to update your RSATools?
I did have to remove the old version and then install the newer one. I believe I used 2016 version.
RSAT is not needed to use Hyper-V Manager.

RE: I thought I had a lot of gear at home but WTF?!?
I think I would spend the money on having my servers in a colo and/or use Vultr.

Are you guys actually deploying 1803 to production already??
We've only deployed clean installs. And only a select few are using it. The rest is still on 1709.

Now that's a teaser right there.
I took my daughter to see the first one will do the same for this one too.

I haven't had to contact MS that often, but whenever I contact Dell support (many of the same issues), I use chat instead of calling. Many of their techs are quite capable at typing english vs. speaking it. Seems to help get rid of the communication barrier (in my experience anyway).
I always preferred using chat. I started using it when communicating with Comcast (home services) and Dell support.

took ages to figure out why packets were dropping in pfsense. I could use ICMP but everything else was dropping. One setting I had to change was "Advanced > Disable Hardware Checksum offload".....man, one checkbox and all is working correctly, what a nightmare lol.
Realtek network card or your pfsense is a VM?

RE: Powershell Get-Childitem behavior with variables

cmd /c "dir /al"
will show that its a junction point toC:\Users

That is a given.
Not at a lot of these venues. Actually half the time we can't have any.
Bad SpiceLeaders organizing with no alchohol.
I can see that happening in Utah.

Some of my users including myself too. Create a Mozilla and Google account and we just use our own work email address when signing up.
You could set up a task scheduler to backup up the Firefox/Chrome and Signatures.

Virtual Desktops are your friend. Easy to set up if you use Linux... Use VirtuaWin if you use Windows.
Edit: SourceForge appears to be down at the moment.
One of many reasons why I like using GNOME 3 because of workspaces.
