Fedora Server primary architecture is now Aarch64
Does that mean Fedora Server will work better on Aarch64 processors compare to other 64-bit processors?

I heard Moose meat is pretty tasty. I might have to come to ol Canada and have @MattSpeller introduce me and a Moose (moose on the receiving end of a large caliber weapon).
It's god damn delicious. Moose pepperoni is one of my favourite things.
OMG that sounds good.

RE: Fedora 28....time to upgrade
@cherryman said in Fedora 28....time to upgrade:
Can't get this upgrade to work. Atleast the reboot process does not work to say the least.
so i did all the steps explained on several pages like already explained above this thread from @JaredBusch
After dnf -y system-upgrade reboot the system reboots and succeeds the installation i guess? (No errors)
Then the system reboots again and the VirtualBox VM window stays black.... just black.. nothing to press or to click..
Anyone else has this kind of problem?Edit: I did revert back to Fedora 27 with an old snapshot. That worked. I will take another try, when there is a new virtualbox update. Windows 1803 update crashed my vbox machines today aswell... not a good day to do updates it seems.
Did you by chance have virtualbox guest add on installed already? You can try removing it first.

Yes that's it probably. Completely forgot this point. My problem is that i really need them for the shared folder, so i can't risk upgrading and not being able to reinstall the guest additions afterwards. I will just wait (a month?) and try again. Maybe things will arrange themselves, hehe.
Still thanks a lot for the input.
Fedora 28 now includes virtualbox addon by default.

Then back to... why UEFI?
Let me ask you....why not UEFI?
On Hyper-V I always setup as Gen2 which is UEFI also. I do recall various problems with some CentOS installs though a few years ago. Cannot recall clearly though. Most are Gen2, so I obviously figured out whatever I was doing wrong back then.
I thought the issue on Hyper-V was related to secure boot.

Writing a Office 365 deployment script that prompts you to choose either Office 365 ProPlus 64-bit or Office 365 ProPlus 32-bit.

That has always sucked all the time...
It would be awesome that they add an option under generation 2 when creating the VM using Hyper-V Manager.

@scottalanmiller This makes me miss my old job. I was working on replacing all of our GPOs with Salt and printer deployment was coming up. However, as a solo SMB IT employee, I had an insane amount of time on my hands.
I am a solo SMB employee and have no time on my hands.
We just hired about 10 people in the last 4 weeks and 2 start in a week and 2 more possibly the week after. No real time to do anything more than setup new employees.
HR and Workday handles most of the onboarding and the rest is automated.

RE: What Are You Watching Now
I still haven't watched Avengers: Infinity War on Netflix because I'm waiting for Avengers: Endgame. I think Kevin Feige said that they are separate movies but to me its one of those to be continued type movies, which I hate with a passion.
