@travisdh1 Now I just need to configure the drives and throw Xenserver on this thing and let it rip.

EdgeRouter to Azure site to site VPN
I have a bunch of free Azure credits, so I've been setting up some stuff in Azure in a lab environment to check out more of the Azure product offerings. I know the reputation for Azure around here, but free is a good price, so why not.
One of the things I want to setup is a site to site VPN to my ERX. Setting up the gateway in Azure is well documented, and according to the tech articles I've followed, the Azure piece of the VPN is finished. Now for the ERX side. Currently I have a L2TP VPN server setup on the ERX so I can connect remotely, but now I'm looking to add a site to site VPN. I hope I can have a server/client setup as well as site to site on the ERX.
Has anyone here ever set this up successfully? I've found this guide, but have not tried yet. Configure EdgeMax VPN Azure

@StrongBad Attempting to do this as we speak. So far, the status is "I need a beer" but I'm far from giving up.
Well, I just fixed part of the problem...

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@scottalanmiller Yep, same to you! Was great to put some names to faces. Can't wait to see where the "road trips" will be. Hopefully some on the east coast.

RE: VPN communication through ERX to different subnet
Progress... So deleting the entire tunnel from the ERX completely, as well as removing the gateway/public IP from Azure, and then re-creating a new one, with a new IP, solved the issue. As soon as the tunnel was created, traffic started flowing. Feels like something was either "stuck" on the ERX with the old config, or it was something on the Azure side.
In any case, now I'll attempt to create another tunnel to solve the original problem in the OP.

RE: You Cannot Virtualize That
"You Cannot Virtualize That" = "Challenge accepted"
I've run into this with a very popular 3D drafting software company. In the end, I was just convinced that the "you cannot visualize that" mandate is simply a way for them to blame virtualization for problems with their software. In other words, if you have a problem, and their support cannot figure out the solution, they will always come back to the fact that you virtualized their product, which is "not supported."
Also, why isn't virtualize in my computer's dictionary?

Perhaps you meant "Poll"
Except that is not a pole in the picture... it is a staff.
Staff on a pole.
No, it's more like staff on a staff. That's a Bo staff, not a pole.
If they were strippers, that would be staff on a pole. @pchiodo ... go fish!
I left this thread a few hours ago to go to some meetings, and come back to find this thread 189 posts long, with strippers and poles in the last few posts. This site is amazing.

I got scheduled for a meeting today at precisely 3:07.
Who in the world schedules a meeting for a time so precise? Does this mean you need to start dialing your phone at 3:06:45 to start the phone call?
What's worse, when I accepted the invite it was 3:06 and somehow it got moved one minute!
Ask to have it rescheduled until 3:09 due to scheduling conflicts...

Freepbx/Asterisk "serious network trouble"
I just upgraded a PBX from the old track 6.12 to the new FreePBX track 10.13. The upgrade went smoothly, but there is one remote softphone (using Linphone) that has intermittent call issues and the logs are full of the errors below. There are other softphone users that do not have any issues. Has anyone ever experience any messages like these?
[2016-10-18 10:48:31] ERROR[2323]: chan_sip.c:4261 __sip_reliable_xmit: Serious Network Trouble; __sip_xmit returns error for pkt data [2016-10-18 10:48:45] WARNING[2323]: chan_sip.c:3775 __sip_xmit: sip_xmit of 0x7f835037ea70 (len 1038) to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:56332 returned -2: No such file or directory
