Haven't been able to take lunch yet. Not sure if I'm going to get to either. =( sad because I'm dreaming of a nice steak.
Got a whole warehouse full of steaks. What kind would you want? NY strips? Sirloin? T-Bone? I also have a professional kitchen at my disposal. How do you want it cooked? Sous vide? On the grill?
Largest ribeye you've got, follow Rojo's cooking instructions.
Speaking of ribeye, I got my dad to pick these up for me before Easter from their local butcher shop:
All "cowboy cut", i.e. at least 2 inches thick. 1.7lb was the small one. Vacuum sealed and ready for the sous vide. And on sale, too.
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit
Living in an ultra-liberal hippy dippy town has it's downsides - lack of good butchers & the ones that are here charge through the eyeballs.
Come on down anytime, bud. Meat and guns are plentiful in Georgia.

I may just take you up on that some day. I enjoyed South Carolina (humidity aside) and I bet Georgia is even nicer.

The wife and kids met me for lunch today. Ate a healthy meal of natural chicken, steamed veges and brown rice.
Hit me up later, I'll bring you a double bacon cheeseburger... you know, to keep the estrogen from taking over your system.
edit: also, what the hell is "natural" chicken??? Chickens are alive, ergo they are part of nature, ergo they are natural. How much more a pound do you pay for that marketing department quackery???
Sorry, I mislead you. The restaurant had "natural" in the name, but the food is all organic, including the chicken.
Also, it's a fact that foods like your "double bacon cheeseburger" actually increase estrogen levels... unless they are also organic
And as a bonus, I've never been healthier, more fit, and strong in my life! Good food, good rest, gym at least 4x a week before work.

"gym"
I split a cord of wood for my parents/neighbours and then go for a hike
Mind you, whatever works

The whole idea of this, is so I don't spend the last 20-30 years of my life in pain... hard to walk and basic functions hindered.
Often times, you'll see someone hit their 60s or 70s (or even earlier!), then spend the next 20 years with health problems, whatever they are.
When I retire, I want to be fit and travel with my equally healthy wife until I die... preferably not in a wheelchair or next to a cane.
It's the same kind of investment you make with a 401k or savings, so you can live after you stop working. You need to do the same thing with your health!

Come on down anytime. Winter is best. I have extra rooms.

About to fire up the smoker for a marinated beef tri tip. 1.5 - 2 hours should get it to a perfect mid rare. Will be sliced thinly for tacos.
