Setting your email domain in FreePBX

I am setting up a new FreePBX 13 system for a client today and when I tested the email, it was always coming from
[email protected]. I went through all the GUI sections and set the from email address. I even purchased their $25 SysAdmin Pro module because it mentioned that it has email configuration settings.
All to no avail.
So I opened postfix config and set it myself.
myorigin = domain.com # save and exit, then service postfix restart
