If you make a backup from XenCenter before that, then all you have to do is reinstall and restore the backup at least.

So, just to circle back to this...
Is it correct that Clonezilla can make an exact clone of my current boot USB stick?
So if I plug an identical USB stick into another port, and boot to Clonezilla, I should be ale to make an exact clone, and then boot to the clone?

what you want to do should be pretty straight forward, you'll be working with local disks, I'd make sure you unplug the HDD before starting.
Assuming the USB are the same brand and size, you'll have to be sure which is which before you clone to make sure you don't go the wrong way.

Planning to do thie remotely, so no, I won't be.

I think I already asked this, but...
Doesn't XS write anything to disk, like settings or configurations or anything?
If I set up XS, and don't add any VMs or anything to it, would a clone that I took 60 days ago boot right up?

Yes, it should boot up just fine.
