UBNT VPN L2TP Remote Access
-
We have a VPN configured for a team that works from either home all the time, or traveling to client sites from time to time.
We get some issues here and there that the person gets a L2TP 800 or 789 error from time to time.
Accessing the UBNT Router
configure show vpn l2tp remote-access >edited out< client-ip-pool { start xxx.xxx2.190 stop xxx.xxx.2.199 } dns-servers { server-1 xxx.xxx.2.3 server-2 xxx.xxx.2.117
In the case, does the Client-IP-Pool indicate the number of connections that are allow?

@gjacobse I would have to imagine so.
How many people are using this VPN connection at once?
It can't be very difficult to change or increase the number of available IP's to the range.
-
You've only assigned 10 IP addresses to the pool. If you have more than 10 VPN connections coming in at once, that's your issue.
-
yup, nailed it.

At this moment I don't have a count.. I suppose I can go by the number of UserIDs in it even if they aren't all connected at the same time. - that would be the maximum.
Going by that - 15.

So if you have 15 possible users at a time, you would need at least that many available IP addresses.
Increase the range to include more IP's and have 15 people or devices to test with.

That is our plan... of course it appears that we need to take a look at the Server DHCP Scope as well. -
