PACS systems

Anyone here use/have a PACS system?
A PACS is a Picture Archiving and Communication System for radiology.
The poor man's solution I currently have in place is failing and I'm looking for options. Hosted options are good to have on the list as well.

Here's a list of some with some ratings.

I have but it was way too long ago to remember any details. I remember it ran on Windows 98, is that helpful?

I think they only run things like MRI machines on Windows 98 now.... sadly not kidding.

well it's not as bad as Windows 98, but our CT machine runs on Windows 2000 pro, and it was installed in 2008.
The claim was that Win2K Pro was the only certified OS by the FDA at the time (on the Windows side of course).
It hasn't been updated, nor will it probably ever be updated - just like print shops still running Windows 9x machines for their large printers.

A lot of the control stuff runs on windows sadly.
I have a client with a big fancy metal cutting and bending machine and it runs on some ancient OS too. I think 2000.

Metal cutting and similar on old OSes isn't as scary as things like CT scanners. Getting a bug in a metal cutter is a little scary, getting one in a CT scanner is very scary.
