Gaming - What's everyone playing / hosting / looking to play

I am not a big RPG type gamer. Although I do like No Man's Sky for PS4, all CODs and am still playing Stardew Valley.
-
Boardgames as we have no power.

How bad is the weather by you. It has been bitter cold the last few days and now snowing again which makes people in WI think they're invincible.

I've been playing Path of Exile recently.
How is that? I've downloaded it, but never actually played it yet.
It's like what D3 should've been if Blizzard's dev's gave a flying f.
I'm enjoying it.
Interesting. But looking at the videos, how does it differ than D3 now that makes it better?
Everything about the game is enjoyable, where as D3 killed their platform with the real money market/ poor game design mechanics and a whiney lead developer (no joke) who simply didn't want to make a game that people would enjoy.
So, my question still remains about the game. It looks the same.
POE isn't going to look that much different because the idea is the same. It's an ARPG/HacknSlash. It may looks similar, like how cars can look very similar but the performance is drastically different. POE is the winner in 99% of it as the people who created it were hardcore diablo 2 players and basically built the game they wanted to play. The skill tree and economy both are standouts for POE. It's a lot to talk about though because there is just so much to compare.
Here is one guys opinion: https://www.requnix.com/diablo-3-vs-path-of-exile
Hope it helps

Yes, thank you. An actual intelligent response.

Damn, this is going to take awhile...
That's a lot of GB just to try something out.

@Obsolesce your internet must be slow I downloaded and installed it in about 10 minutes (over my wifi).

Yeah it varies between 28-29 MB/s. I don't have fiber so isn't as fast as it could be. But then again, it's free. So I can't really complain. It's been working well these past couple years.
-
@Obsolesce free works for sure. How is it that you get free internet? Government subsidy of some sort or employer pays for it?
-
Just a heads up that while you wait to download it, look at classes and builds.
You don't want to spend the time leveling a character just to find your randomly picked skills don't work well.

It was done under 15 mins. Did some other things.

Two games that seem interesting:
Starship Troopers RTS: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1202130/Starship_Troopers__Terran_Command/
Spies vs. Mercs (Old Splinter Cell Game Mode) type of game called Intruder: https://store.steampowered.com/app/518150/Intruder/
Note: Sort of Spies vs. Spies if any of you played the game mode back in the day -
Way too much Valheim...
