Epic Games has the Arkham and LEGO Batman games for free: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/collection/batman-free-week.
I have so many free games but can play some of them because my only computer that can play them is a Linux system.
I have so many free games that I can't play most of them.

I got an early invite to Flotam, besides that I can't say much but the game is pretty flipping amazing so far.

Video: Ars talks Civilization with the man himself: Sid Meier
This "War Stories" video explores how Civilization almost wasn't a turn-based game.
Although he comes from that wild time in gaming that gave us Trip Hawkins and the concept of "rock star developers," Sid Meier is not loud and brash. Nor is he looking to make anyone his bitch. These days he's more like your friendly gaming grandpa—as we spoke, he placed his words carefully and deliberately, as if he were positioning game pieces on a hex grid. He became animated as we discussed game mechanics but otherwise answered questions almost laconically, with a slight smile—after all, he's been dealing with the press for decades. -
Freespace2 is free on GoG for the next ~48 hrs. If you haven't played it and you like either space flight sims or a compelling story it is worth playing. If you like both, it is amazing.

@Kelly Nice find - I keep forgetting to check GOG for classics like this. I honestly can't remember if I played it when it came out, so it looks like I'll be adding another game to my library. Teenage me had a pretty terrible PC and no money back then...

I'm on their mailing list. They're pretty good about not spamming for the most part and only sending out emails for major releases, things on my wishlist, and freebies.

Me too. GOG is one of the few places I want mail from regularly.

Got my copy of Freespace 2 last night and started looking into the Source Code Project, since I've read that it adds quite a bit more life to the game.
My only issue now is that I no longer own a joystick and I can't stand trying to play games using keyboard and mouse for flight controls. Might be time to look at purchasing one...

I'd forgotten about that. One of the really nice ones if you're into the story is that they ported FS1 into the FS2 engine, so you can play through that campaign without having to track down a copy of FS1.

I'll definitely have to check it out - I remember playing Descent 1, 2 and 3, but not the Freespace titles.
A brief look at some of the other mods / campaigns / total conversions leads me to believe that this could be installed on my games SSD for quite some time...
