Steam drops support of Bitcoin citing volatility making it too risky.
This is not a bad business move with prices and fees changing so rapidly.

Yeah, makes a lot of sense.

Maniac Mansion has finally released!
-
Steam sale is still two days away, but the GOG.com Winter Sale is on and you get free games just for checking it out!

Okay now I really hate you. They have a new Star Control Game coming out. Star Control II is my all time favorite game.

I finished up all the main endings of Nier Automata, and enjoyed it immensely.
I'm now starting on Prey, which seems like a spiritual successor to the System Shock series. So far it's kept me interested and I'm enjoying the mystery.
-
I just got myself Maniac Mansion on Steam.
-
Dragon Ball Fighter Z coming at the end of January. Made by Arcsys too, the same company that created guilty gear.

@wirestyle22 I saw that. But why would I buy that when I have Xenoverse 1+2 which has more chars, more moves, and 3d movement and large 3d destructible arenas?

Oh god where to begin.
- Every other DBZ game has characters that are literally useless. This game, every character has unique mechanics and infinite callbacks to the show, etc. Every character looks really good as in they aren't useless.
- It's made my Arcsys on the same Engine that Guilty Gear was, which is the BEST fighting game of all-time. Period.
- Bandai-Namco has to come out with a new DBZ game every year (for licensing) and DBFZ is going to be eating all of that up with newer and newer versions of this game. So those games Xenoverse games will likely not receive a lot of love.
- It's designed as a balanced (relatively) tournament worthy fighting game.
- The combat is 3v3, very akin to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (in all of the good ways) with assists and everything.
- Destructible stages as well as your character getting more and more damaged over time.
3D fighting games have their place, but I have always and will always prefer 2D. The gameplay is just completely differerent and IMO much more interesting.
I've been a fighting game tournament player since 2007, I just love the genre

Basically you have to enjoy fighting games as a genre before you can enjoy this one.

It's a fighting game. If you don't like fighting games you aren't going to like it. Although I will say that it is incredibly easy to pick up. Mastering it will be another story as it usually is.

Steam sale should start today.
-
Still hasnt started... it is like 3 days before christmas. wtf
-
It has begun.
Oh look Ys Seven for PC. Buying. -
Is anyone else having issues with the "next page" button on the steam sale? If I click the arrow, I get an error, but if I click the next page number, it works fine.

I finally picked up Dark Souls 3 for $15. I hope it's better than the disappointment that 2 was, since it had the flunkies at the helm. Since Hidetaka Miyazaki was back in charge for 3, here's hoping.
