Update to 0.7.0
-
Mark as read is broke. It says it does it but any thread that I have never viewed still shows an unread alert and if I go back to the u read tab it is still there.
-
I am prepping the cloud platform for a backup right now. 0.7.2 is out and we are going to check it out.
Also did a pretty large platform update for Ubuntu as well, nearly 300MB of updates.

We have an issue running the latest update...

Is it still broke? Everytihng appears to be fine by me.
-
Yes, we are unable to update to 0.7.2. We fell back to the old code base. Thankfully I know enough about how fragile the update process is (it's literally never worked once) to never try to update in place.
-
Just had this happen while trying to up vote something.
-
It's possible that something is confused because of the database having been updated to 0.7.2 but not the application platform. I'm going to attempt to get a full, fresh install ready for this evening. I've upvoted since the update and sometimes it works.

Search is crap as always.

Google it is.......

Yeah it is, since leaving Solr (because they broke it) it has been truly awful.

Meh, it sucked with Solr too, just not as bad maybe.

It did but it was not quite as bad.

I've noticed I can't use the URL of a image to upload it.. I have to download that image now...

URL to upload? In what sense? Pasting in a direct URL still works, I do it constantly.
Exclamation point, square brackets with description, paranthesis with URL
-
Interesting - that time it worked.
-
you are formatting it wrong?

Don't think so. I copy the URL and paste it in the upload...that time it worked, I just added () to not actually post it. not sense is cluttering up the thread.

Wait, you mean you have the URL to an image and then click the image button?
I've never even thought to try that.
If you have the URL, then just type in markdown and paste the URL.
Like this minus the spaces: ! [imgtag] (imgurl)

Yes,.. I copy the image URL, hit the image button and paste, the system pulls the image right from the source and I don't have to search for it local.
I found it by accident.. Sometime it takes longer to process.
