Re-imaged? Do you mean built on CloudPro or you manage to re-image the old CloudatCost servers that had had their buttons disabled?
-
Cloud Pro... I didn't test the other one.
-
Not really re-imaging then, just imaging - because it's the first time.
-
Got another build that is still pending after 4 hours.
Just checked, and it's finally in the "reimaging" stage. Not sure how long it's been this way, but so far were at 14+ hours and counting since the initial provisioning request.
Nice alpha test you've got going on here, C@C!

Don't worry, it is only a backlog and the backlog will be totally cleared out -10 hours ago. So your issues are all in your head.

For a back log that bad, they should have taken some laxatives

Maybe you could test ReactOS alpha on C@C. It's the prefect storm. haha.

Still no refund as of yet. They've "escalated" it. No further update.
-
My machine came back online. At this point, a bit of down time doesn't matter too much to me since the machine did get migrated over to pro and rebuilt.... This is just a personal toy for now.
-
FWIW, the "backlog" seems to have mostly cleared up (new server sits at "pending" status for under a minute), yet the "reimaging" still seems to take well more than the 1-2 minutes they strive for.

So, Basically the outage was almost 1 week without usability. That's a lot of time. Plus, we have to redo any work for this "CloudPro" which isn't worth it. Even for testing it's just too much trouble. I won't deal with a company that is this bad.
They were suppose to issue a refund as they contacted me on here, however now I get an email from the founder asking what issues am I having? He says all the issues are fixed now (as of this morning). They don't really want to refund, they'd rather give me some free cloud pro resources or early access to some cool new things... Lame.

@thecreativeone91
Tell them you want a refund and I'll take the free resources,
Still willing to keep some junk with this company.
However if I knew demanding a refund would get me free stuff....

Not interested in free stuff from them. It's not worth my time.

Tell him that you'll be happy to Alpha test their products for a fee.

That's what got us. Nearly a week of downtime, a month after a day of downtime, all without a valid excuse. Then blowing away everything that we had done so we lost 20-40 hours of lab work that we have to redo. Sure, for people who didn't start using the service yet this might seem kind of trivial, but if you are really using it, even for a lab, massive downtime and randomly and intentionally taking everything away and making you start from scratch only makes sense if you are making money to do the testing and no one cares that the effort is wasted. Using this implies that you feel that your own time is worthless.
If I was making minimum wage the time lost would pay for three years or more on an enterprise cloud platform!

It's like returning a product because it is defective and getting a free, additionally defective product instead of your money back. Um..... why is that good?

That's where it would make sense. We not only returned the stuff we paid for, we returned the free stuff too. It is literally too costly to use their free stuff.
