Sad, but I wonder how much that will only be the UK, not the wider language.
I dont know. It seems like some of these or similar things are already happening in the southern US.
I don't notice it in the Midwest. And I rarely travel to the East Coast, so no clue there.

Specifically London.
They are nearly there now

They were always there in the south. Not "happening" so much. And much of it is reversing. Texas is rapidly losing its accent and being replaced with the California one.

'Th' sound to vanish from English language by 2066 because of multiculturalism, say linguists
‘TH’ stopping – the dental consonants ‘th’ will be replaced by ‘d’ meaning ‘this’ or ‘that’ will become ‘dis’ and ‘dat’
‘TH’ fronting – Words which begin with a ‘th’ sound will be lost so ‘thin’ will become ‘fin’ and ‘think’ will change to ‘fink’
Sound softening – hardly anyone says ‘syoot’ for ‘suit’ anymore and the trend will continue with the sharp corners knocked off words
Yod dropping - words like ‘cute’ or ‘beauty’ will become ‘coot’ and ‘booty.’
Consonant smushing – ‘W’ and ‘r’ are already similar for many southern English speakers but the letters could completely collapse into one sound. Words with ‘ch’ and ‘j’ could also become indistinguishable.
Glottal stop – the slight linguistic trip which turns ‘butter’ into ‘bu’er’ in dialects like Cockney and Geordie will become more prevalent across the country.
Emojis – happy face, sad face, or wink will become part of language and facial expressions.
That isn't a future event for a large part of the British Isles, particularly the "th".

Uhm? That was about some stupid dumbass who had a "few hundred gramms" of high explosive material in his apartment. And he didn't plan to build fireworks from it.

So other than big banks/stock brokers with access to instant trading stuff, I'm assuming that almost no one had access to those prices in real life

Anyone can get an FX trading account and get those prices. Doesn't require anything special.
-
My roommate's mom does FX trading sometimes. You can just pick up a book to learn how and get software and an account with a brokerage to do it. No different than trading in stocks or bonds or whatever. As long as you are trading for yourself and not getting paid to do it, there aren't any limitations.

Not sure if I saw someone post this here or not, but it's pretty funny... and then I find out that the guy is a friend of a close friend of mine. Priceless.

I hope the family was grateful for his "efforts".

He should be in some trouble and should fix things that he broke, but he was TRYING to do something good. Hopefully that counts for something. Nothing malicious there. Just a dumbass.

well, he is in court today for his numerous other unresolved drug-related charges and whatnot. So, he probably won't get into any more trouble for this than he is likely already in.
