True. I suppose I should say I'm pleased he made it to the next transition: death.

If it's sad to you, great. No problem with that. You don't need to change the way you feel because Jared said so. Nobody gives a shit how he feels when someone dies, it's a subjective thing.

Coronavirus 'most severe health emergency' WHO has faced
Covid-19 is easily the most severe global health emergency ever declared by the World Health Organization (WHO), its leader has said.
Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he would reconvene the WHO's emergency committee this week for a review. There have been five other global health emergencies: Ebola (two outbreaks), Zika, polio and swine flu. More than 16m cases of Covid-19 have been reported since January, and more than 650,000 deaths. "When I declared a public health emergency of international concern on 30 January... there were less than 100 cases outside of China, and no deaths," Dr Tedros said. "Covid-19 has changed our world. It has brought people, communities and nations together, and driven them apart." -

Donald Trump Jr suspended from tweeting after Covid post
Twitter has banned the US president's eldest son from tweeting for 12 hours.
The punishment followed a post by Donald Trump Jr containing a video discussing the benefits of Hydroxychloroquine. Some, including President Trump, have suggested the drug works as a preventative measure against coronavirus, despite medical studies that indicate the contrary. Twitter said the post had violated its Covid-19 misinformation rules. Donald Trump Jr will still be able to browse Twitter and send direct messages in the interim. -

Hong Kong postpones elections for a year 'over virus concerns'
The Hong Kong government has postponed September's parliamentary elections by a year, saying it is necessary amid a rise in coronavirus infections.
Hong Kong is currently experiencing a spike in Covid-19 infections, and reported 121 new cases on Friday. However, the opposition has accused the government of using the pandemic as a pretext to stop people from voting. On Thursday, the government banned 12 pro-democracy candidates from running in the elections. Opposition activists had hoped to obtain a majority in the Legislative Council (LegCo) in September's poll, capitalising on anger at Beijing's imposition of a controversial national security law in Hong Kong, and fears that the territory's freedoms are being eroded. -
