I don't know how JB does it with no back on his chair...
It discourages sitting.

Also, I work from home, so if I really feel like total shit, I can go sit on the couch or recline on my bed with my laptop.

I will probably invest in one of these eventually

I just can't get any real work done from there...

If I feel like total shit, I am not getting real work done from anywhere. But some work from couch/bed is better than no work.

I only use my surface when I go to meetings or at home (it's my personal device, but I like the pen input for note taking and I can check out stuff online in boring meetings). The laptop connects to the 3 monitors, and I use the tall one (sideways) for MangoLassi and the ticket system, or whenever I need to as a result of a long article like SMB IT journal. It's generally handy to have. I really, really like it for SSH sessions.

Aren't you afraid a monster or something is going to pop out of those double doors?
BOOOOO!
Second floor.
Some monsters have wings.
My girl seems to grow horns from time to time.. not wings...

@Minion-Queen pretty nice!

@Minion-Queen what devices are you using to display on all 3 monitor from your MacBook?
-
Or are they just hooked up to a desktop out of the photo...

Actually the 3 monitors are hooked to a Windows 10 desktop. The MacBook is all on it's own for now need another monitor for that.

Funny, I got a request about possibly installing a conversion sit/stand desk at a station. This came in after a doc saw that an employee was using reams of paper to raise their monitor to reduce neck strain by looking down at their monitors.
What's interesting, a sit/stand desk won't change the height of the monitors at all - so I'm not sure how this helps the problem.

Yeah that doesn't make sense. My monitors are on a Monitor stand so I can get them at the right height a whole lot cheaper than a Sit/Stand Desk.

Adjustable stands are pretty uncommon as an included stands unless it's a more expensive one. I think of the 60 monitors we have, I think 5 might have adjustable stands. It's definitely amazed me how expensive they are. They can easily be as expensive as the display.

My triple stand was $150 I think. That was a couple years ago.
