 This is a network I didn't set-up and so many things are wrong lol like Citrix Licensing server doesn't work correctly after Acronis was installed. So god knows whats on the DC and "cloud" be a problem. Hence thinking let the MSP do it Who cares? Just adding a DC affects nothing.

It creates new sync partnerships, etc. While I agree that it's HIGHLY unlikely that something bad will happen, I must leave room for the possibility.

It creates new sync partnerships, etc. While I agree that it's HIGHLY unlikely that something bad will happen, I must leave room for the possibility. I think it was more the "turning the old one off" that could cause issues if I read it right, as in he's not sure what they set to run from the old DC when it was made/over the years etc?

 @hobbit666 doesn't surprise me when half the people on there barely even understand what an IP address is, let alone the default ones...seen a few like that tbh...
