In the case of the Telsa, the blind spot sensors (not really though, just sensors in general) will change lanes when in driving assist mode (so I understand, and will accept a correction if my understanding is false).
If you lose any control because of the assist, it is illegal on the road today. The driver must remain the driver.

I've not seen one of those. Let us know what you find. I've seen them for desktop, but not for phone.
What desktop app?
I use a browser plugin, or did. It's been a while.

uh, are you saying since day one? yeah I don't think so. Sure there were/are plug ins that allow you to rip out the video stream, but don't think Youtube itself supported this. Though a day one link will definitely prove me wrong.

This has been on the news in San Francisco. Wonder what ever came of it.

What does "supports it" mean? YouTube downloads a video, if your player supports saving it, it saves. Proxies have always been able to cache it. YouTube doesn't provide the tools, but no one does for normal downloads. But we don't call it unsupported.

I proposed that in the mid-1990s. It was ready to happen back then!

A browser extension called "video download helper" lets you view things offline because it downloads them locally.

Robot surgeons have problems with bad drivers and oblivious pedestrians?
