I remember seeing egg white as an ingredient in an old bartender's handbook when I worked at a liquor store. So many oddball cocktail recipes that have gone the way of the dodo.

Very common for classic cocktails.
Looking online, I saw that a traditional whiskey sour (and most sours) had egg white. Might have to check into this.
