From the website: "Unchecky automatically unchecks unrelated offers, both saving you mouse clicks and making it less likely to miss a checkbox of an unwanted offer. Installers often try to sneak additional programs as a natural part of the installation. Unchecky warns you when you try to accept a potentially unwanted offer, which makes it less likely to be accepted accidentally. Install and forget. Unchecky automatically updates whenever a new version is available, so you don't have to worry about running the latest version." Anyone else using it? Any known issues?

I think this product is by the same company as ccleaner. Piriform. If that is who they are I won't use them because of their security. Nice idea in theory but I don't want to take chances.

@black3dynamite It appears to do a nice job. I tried to install some freeware programs that I know throw offers in and it unchecked them. Thinking about putting it on my family members computers

Wouldn’t that invite them to go crazy installing apps?

I support no family member that does not let me remove admin rights from them.

Nope, don't need it, I use Chocolatey to install most of that junk.

As JB said, take away admin rights and most of these problems go away.
