Bendgate 2.0: Samsung’s $2,000 foldable phone is already breaking
Samsung's futuristic Galaxy Fold is launching this month, and the device has already made its way to a select group of reviewers and influencers. There are numerous reports of Samsung's $2,000 device breaking after a single day, sometimes due to poor durability, other times due to user error.

Yikes! mutters Now I have to wait for the Note 10 in august, or grab the Note 9 now, lol.
-
@dafyre while I would agree, waiting or choosing another phone entirely is best, as the article states, this is purely "early adopter" territory.
Avoid anything that bends for at least a year or two
Or more accurately when Apple is ready to release then consider the players.

ROFL. If Apple comes out with a folding phone that ain't terrible (this is quite possible) and doesn't cost any more than the Galaxy Fold (... maybe. The Huwei foldable phone is closer to $2600!), I'd consider switching back.
I know it's early adopter, I don't mind that... But I don't want the thing to fall apart on me the first day... give me a week, at least.
But I promise not to pull off the plastic cover for the foldable display, lol. I might even open the phone up and spread some super glue around the outer edges just to keep dust out, lol. (I'd give my phone a few hours to dry before folding it again!)

@nadnerB not bad grammar, just nonsensical. It's just written by someone that doesn't know the basic words.

Feuding tech giants Amazon and Google have come to an agreement on their streaming services.Too late for Amazon, they already lost their Fire momentum and the product has been left in the dust. Even those of us that had believed in it and invested and unhooked them and replaced them with better devices at this point.

I'm still a fan of Fire TV devices. The entire ChromeCast concept annoys me. Give me a remote so I don't have to use my phone as one.
What did you replace yours with?
