Veeam 9.5 Configuration
-
I installed Veeam 9.5 Free. I was told in another thread that even the free version is exchange aware, so I figured I'd use it in lieu of windows server backup.
Installed all requirements for the system configuration check--this is just an image I found of the check itself.
I open Veeam Backup & Replication and click "Add Server". Choose Microsoft Hyper-V. I enter the IP of the server I want to backup. I select the domain admin credentials (you can also use local admin credentials).
Detecting previously installed components
When I apply I get this
I attempted to look this up in the veeam documentation but it doesnt list anything. Is this telling me I didn't install what I needed to install during the system configuration check? Is there anyway for me to perform that check again with it still installed?

This post makes no sense. did you or did you not correctly install the software int he first place?

"Installed all requirements for the system configuration check--this is just an image I found of the check itself."
Yes, I did. How does this not make sense? I don't know how to run that system config check again so I linked an image of it I found as a reference. I don't know what packages are missing. There does not seem to be a log of it anywhere within Veeam or in the event logs of what it is actually referring to. That's why I'm posting.

Reinstallation fixed it but I don't know why.
