Short of some fancy powershell scripting and API stuff, I'm not sure there's any other way to do it.

AKA, not a real solution.
"Yes sir, you will have to individually restore your 65,000 files. Hello? Sir?"
I guess you could just restore the really important ones while you wait for a decryption fix to be found.

OneDrive is not a backup solution - it's an online storage solution.

That you get a means of recovery is great, but that does not mean it is a backup.

I know it works on ODfB for things like text files. Not sure about every file, like JPGs and stuff. ISOs, whatever.
