Wishing I still had Skyrim. Not enough swords and dragons here at the office...
Hmmm, on second thought, a slight correction: Plenty of dragons here and not enough swords/other prodding impliments
Wait what? Sir, You have "swords and dragons" at your office?
-
@Joyfano lol, thankfully no. When I say that I have dragons, think cranky end users

Where did Skyrim go?
-
@Reid-Cooper I was only borrowing it. I had to give it back, it was taking over my life
-
As any good game should!
-
Have you previously played Morrowind or Oblivion?
-
No, Skyrim was the first of the Elder Scrolls games that I've played.
I had a gander at reviews of the previous games, some screen shots and general info about them but I'm not sure if I'll end up playing them.
-
@nadnerB , I was obsessed with Skyrim for awhile, and still have the game. I have the Legendary edition too. I actually have it for 360 AND for Steam. I was told not playing the others was fine, and that Skyrim was the best one yet. I still can't believe how freaking huge the world is in that game! IT'S NUTS!!

Today my eldest (five years old) and I played from beginning to end in the AGD Interactive remake of King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown. I am pretty sure that I have not played that game through since roughly 1997 and only once before that around 1987. That means that it was only a decade between the first two times that I played it but seventeen years since the last time! Wow am I getting old.

They are classics, might be worth checking out. Especially given how cheap they are on a Steam sale. Morrowind will run on pretty much any computer today. Oblivion needs a bit more but is not going to push any new hardware too hard. Both are really well made. You don't want to look at further back than Morrowind, it drops to completely different gaming style. But those two are instrumental in redefining the genre.
