Well, it's back up and working as far as my lot go.

Coffee time, discussing new ways to distribute team pay, editing some videos.

distribute pay?
Yes, we pay across several countries so taking the payroll (the company money in hand intended for employee salaries) and putting it into their hands is a complicated and costly endeavor.

man - what a PITA - no just simple direct deposit.
How do you deal with paying country taxes, etc?

Jaja, no. Have to do money laundering paperwork for every employee. International pay is a terrible paperwork beast.

Most countries don't require that from the employer. That's definitely not the standard. A good number don't require it from workers, either. But that varies. Certainly some countries do (pretty sure Canada is one.) You avoid those countries. They actively fight their workers being "work from" rather than "work in" workers. Part of working internationally is in the selection of business friendly jurisdictions that make business easy and/or cost effective (the two are often the same thing.)

My biggest regret in working from home is the poor quality of catering compared to when I was in the office.

Yea,.. when I worked from home (NTG) I couldn’t get delivery,.. and the restaurant had a bad attitude.
Oh wait…. I was both of those! Ha!
I miss working from home and for NTG.

Now I CAN work from the NTG offices at Las Peñitas and get food catered. But my little office in León, no catering

TEAMs message from the Director -
"Person (four) is no longer with the team and will not be back."
WHAT,...the,...F?!!??
So, the IT team is back to just three people, and the load dumped back on me because; One is the greatest worker - as long as he never has to leave the room; two, dealing with printer project and other things. This leaves me (three) to do damn near everything.
