But they don't see it as "business critical" system and it's for small/hobby people
That's okay, we see them as not business critical and just hobbyists who just buy what sounds cool from salesman and who don't understand or care about business.

Yes. I think I'll have a yearly performance review, but my direct supervisor does monthly chats. I actually like it. It's basically a review of current projects, a preview of what's coming down the pipe, and a chance to talk about challenges, etc.

ohhh - OK I have that too, but it's not a review of me - just more a status review.
Mind is kind of both. Such as, if I were a slacker, this would be a chance for my supervisor to warn me to shape up before "official" action is taken. Also, the projects we talk about are the one specific to me rather than specific to the whole team.

I think they have the right idea. It's actually a purdy day out today. My dog wanted to go for a walk, so I took him. Was funny to see the old dog nosing around like a puppy. He doesn't want to go out to just sniff around too much these days.

Never trust an ERP manufacturer that doesn't even know basic computing terms. And is so bold to try to pretend like they do to a point that they pretend to tell others about them!
