I've discovered I can place calls within the User Control Panel in FreePBX. While not a novel thing, I can see it as a troubleshooting tool. "Can you at least make a call from within the UCP?"
Or from the FOP2 panel if you buy that.
But neither of those are actually good tools.
Because the first thing it does is call your extension. Which would not prove anything really.
Could you not use it to call out the trunk to ensure that your trunk is working properly?
That is not how that works.

Good to know.

Working on planning Discord permissions for my guild.

I just finished installing an SSD and Korora for a family member, and the first question they ask is "Is there anyway to revert back to windows" . . . .
When their biggest complaint was "It's got a virus on it, and it's always run like crap since upgrading to Windows 10 a year ago. . ."
To which my only response is don't install Windows, the SSD would help, but I've got this system configured that it will patch and reboot weekly.

Might be looking at doing our refresh myself as the current MSP is dragging there heals
......... Also I just know they will be recommending a SAN.Requirements are:-
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015
400GB SQL database size
250 current users (we estimate this will expand to 300+ in next 5 years) spread over 57 locations.
We use Citrix Xenapp for desktops
Can't remember what our daily transactions count isI thoughts are Scale maybe or two hosts +vsan
-
@hobbit666 well if you need a new MSP, let me know

I know Citrix's add-on on top of Terminal Services was often needed because their ICA protocol was so much better that RDP, is that still the case? Is that the reason you have it over just pure RDS?
-
@Dashrender Yeah we still find Citrix better (just ) especially for some of the sites with poor ADSL connections.
-
For those wondering lol.
We do around 220,000+ sales lines per month. This doesn't include sales ledger or general stuff being added to GP daily.
-
Hoping to get to do some meaningful participation in ML and Spiceworks today, if only work wouldn't get in the way.

Doing some Unifi AP stuff.

Doing some Unifi AP stuff.
I did that last week. Installed a new controller software, reclaimed my APs, changed my wifi password, and upgraded the firmware(s). Basically a whole new setup/refresh. This was needed for a couple reasons, but the new TV and Roku that my wife bought for me wouldn't accept the old wifi password due to length.
