Scott, I wish you had one of your nice detailed technical articles on virtualization: Hyper-V Server vs Windows Server.
It would be so much easier to throw out that link, drop the mic, and walk out. -
Windows 10 "creators" update changed my power plan settings. Now my monitor turns off after 15 minutes inactivity.
Not a huge issue for me but just an irritation that I have to reset a setting.
It is however, a huge issue for people who have difficulty with tech, like old people.
Honestly, there's a lot of little annoyances about Windows 10 that make it look like Microsoft is silently pushing people to Linux. -
@Tim_G I hear ya, I tried chiming in but same result as if I didn't know what Server Essentials is....

SuiteCRM is installed, looks really nice. SO much more modern than SugarCRM that it is based on.
Looking at their demo, it doesn't look like you can import a quote into an invoice? It just has a field to type in the quote number and date. Kind of annoying that you have to do double work. Create a full quote and then recreate it as an invoice.

Just got home from dinner.

Just finished installing NextCloud and SuiteCRM in AWS. Love the free tier services.

Nice. I have both of those running too. But how much storage are you getting with AWS free?

Spinning up a new VM with Fedora 25 minimal to verify my Nextcloud 11 instructions.

Think you get max 30GB SSD storage. Fine for me as I'm only storing small files and documents. Everything big is on my work OneDrive.

No because I was waiting to do it a second time. I never post one of my guides on the first pass.
It will be posted after I am done in the next hour or so.

There is a Snap installation now too, have not tried it yet, though.

That's more than I was guessing, but not very much . Vultr starts at 125GB, I think, or 250GB. Something decent for very little money.

Here is mine, been used a few times. Requires SaltStack, but you can do that all on one node and it means no setup needed from you.
https://mangolassi.it/topic/12869/install-nextcloud-11-on-fedora-25-with-saltstack/
Even if you don't use Salt, the state file tells you everything that you need for doing the install.
