Was that the OEM tools partition? Or one of those crazy system partitions?

@scottalanmiller Just setting up a unifi controller server in VBox, and Windows10 because thats the OS of Choice right now, trying to be well versed.
-
@BRRABill crazy system partition that it wouldn't allow me to delete for whatever reason. I tried, believe me I tried, but it wouldn't let me select that single partition because it was too small to run the OS, at least that's what it told me

I had an issue upgrading a lot of machines to Windows 10. Had to use partition software to increase it.
Could have also blown it away, but was doing an upgrade.
Sounds like the same issue, maybe.

Scott is asking because why didn't you use the built in Hyper-V option that Windows 10 has - the answer is because his uncle forgot about it and just used ol' faithful - virtual box

Not in his case - the laptop was originally windows something or other - then he installed Linux dual boot on it, that carved out more partitions. I suggested that he wipe and reload it fresh with Win10. first install he didn't delete all the extra partitions (learning thing). I suggested that he start over and this time delete all partitions - but alas one partition wouldn't allow itself to be deleted - I've seen this before and had to use DBAN to remove it - that was install number two..
Not sure what the story is now with install number 3?
Or why he has to reinstall Ubuntu? didn't you backup the VM file for virtualbox? so just copy back, then import into VB and go.

Ended up buying a used peavey vtm120 (all tube 6L6s) and a Brazilian made botique distortion pedal that sounds like they put God in a box. So much freaking gain...
Those aren't bad at all (VTM). Obviously, I have no idea what pedal you got, but that sounds pretty cool... though that coming from a guy who used Metal Zone pedals.
The clean tone is enormous on the VTM. I'll take pics if the pedal.later and post them. It's like a Mesa triple rec in a box.
-
@Dashrender that makes so much more sense..
-
@Dashrender I think I backed it up wrong, not a big deal more practice. Just redownloaded ubuntu server and put it into virtualbox
-
@Dashrender No. But to be honest i havent looked into any third party software to get rid of it yet..
