Got a letter in the mail today addressed to my wife, who passed Sep. 28, 2012, wtf. Actual swearing self-moderated.

That really sucks. I'm sorry that that happens. My dad is still dealing with that and my mom passed in 2003! Thirteen years and he still deals with it all of the time.

Just managed to read an entire property listing in Italian! Woot.

We still get mail for the people who lived in our house, and it's been over 20 years.

We still get mail from people many home owners ago. We know the mail from the previous people. But we get a few from ones a bit before that.

My aunt has been working on our genealogy recently and it just got linked to Joris Rapelje, which is funny because no one in the family realized who that was. What was interesting about he and his wife is that two of their kids had kids and one of their kids is my ancestor on my mother's side and the other kid is the ancestor of @rich9403 via his father to whom I am otherwise not related.

Re-wrote "The Night Before Christmas" based on the "Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, the AC was running 'cause we live in the south" meme that I saw running around on Facebook.
Edit: I'll post it after a couple of folks finish editing it.

Trying to get caught up around here.

Supposed to be going out to the bar with a buddy tonight. But haven't heard from him yet.
-
Heard from him, he passed out. He has two broken ribs from a home football game over Thanksgiving and he has not been sleeping well so he fell asleep while trying to get homework done. So he is not going out tonight.
