Was just preparing my case for my new board when I pulled the wrong... tube of my water-cooling system 😉

It's so much fun to clean up an ethylene glycol / distilled water mixture. Luckily, there was no more hardware in the case. Nothing would have been damaged, but it's a PITA to clean up all the PCBs.

Destilled water doesn't have enough ions to transport elecricity, what could possibly happen?

Trying to get one Webroot endpoint to call home. I have a support ticket open, and they are kinda running me around in circles. If 112 other endpoints are successfully contacting the console through the same network and firewall, how could the firewall be the issue? It has been getting the new versions as they are released, but hasn't "checked in" since 9/20/2016. I'm baffled, and I've been disappointed with the "help" I've gotten this time from Webroot.

Right - in the bottle it comes in, distilled water is harmless. Yours has not been in the bottle for a while...

Need someone to flip a coin:

                • Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB vs
                • AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB

Similar performance, but the GTX 1060 requires less power (nearly 100 W less). On the other hand, I prefer AMD for GPUs.

                  Why not both?

I'm very pleased with my 970gtx for what that's worth

True, for about 3 years now.

Redoing my filled up GrayLog server, yet again.

THIS time I set retention policies, though! 🙂

Well, it only gives it 15GB (the appliance) and it fills it up very quickly.

Oh. I'd go for more like 100GB minimum. And clustering is good, you get failover and scale out storage.

                                  Yes, yes, yes.

I just haven't gotten around to doing that.

I have to add another VHD (and relocate the logs), or build from scratch and install GrayLog (AKA not use the appliance).

This is just loggin from two XSs. Man they are chatty.

That moment where your Outlook stops working and you have to fix it. But more accurately, you stop doing everything else because one thing is not working so you come on ML...

Aww glad to see you here! We missed you at SpiceWorld!

I'm super upset I missed it - I heard it was a blast though!

I think I'm upset about missing it ,... wait - who am I kidding... I would have just stayed in the room working.
But I did want to go.

Second coffee in 2 hours. First one didn't even touch the sides.
I don't think these coffee bags are strong enough (even if left steeping for twice the "suggested" time). I don't think I'll buy these ones again. Taste is reasonable and decent but it's a bit like a solar panel at night.

This thread is hilarious. No idea what the OP was about, never figured out what the post was, OP posts back but makes no sense, then some new guy says he still has the issue... but it was never his issue.
