What Are You Doing Right Now

On the bright side. Not my circus and not my monkeys.
That may change in the near future but for this monumental balls-up, it's not something that I have to fix -
Apparently Mint 18 is pretty good.

Had a Professional Women in Business conference this morning. about 2-300 women business owners. Always so surprised when I ask questions about their IT and they have no clue
Getting and oil change and tire rotation and then finally to my desk today. Hmmm maybe I will have to get some Pizza while I'm out for lunch

On a phone call all morning.

Currently, I can feel myself crashing...hard...not good. Otherwise, working on an Avaya issue this morning. Or, more correctly, raising a ticket and waiting while the voice team is informed about an Avaya issue. It's lovely having my hands completely tied...

I need coffee. But I'm on a call Coffee machine is too far away.
-
The whole home lab thread got me itching, so I set up my raspberry Pi last night that I got for Christmas. Good! SSH from work into this morning, rebooted it:
shutdown -h now
OOPS
so now I guess I have to work rest of today -

so now I guess I have to work rest of todayI stayed with a friend once and I ran so much traffic through the network, the shitty Verizon FiOS router would have it's WiFi crap out pretty much every day...because that's what they do...
My friend didn't want me to have access to the router, but eventually I just got the info of the router's label, logged in, enabled telnet, and setup a cron job to reboot the router every morning at 4am. Fixed all the WiFi issues. My friend said after a couple days of that running "see, it's working fine now" and was all proud of himself. To this day, he still has no idea that it was me rebooting the router every morning at 4am that fixed the issue. Lol
