Now I get to figure out where we are migrating from ownCloud as obviously no one in their right minds would be running that any more. So frustrating. Really liked that product, too. But, always something new to discover.
Eh? What happened?
Check the "recent" threads for anything about ownCloud 9. We reported some really glaring bugs and they went ballistic trying to blame us for every error. Wouldn't take responsibility for anything, made wild claims about Red Hat, totally unprofessional stuff that was so bad I don't feel confident working with their platform any longer. And management has already seen their thread and totally agrees.

If I need internet access to get the stuff,
According to their engineers, OC doesn't have Internet access capabilities anymore
That's only half tongue in cheek. They actually claim that the systems that are online... aren't. Their idea of online and everyone else's are rather, um, different.

Taking time to do a short tutorial to learn about this new Docker craze.
Amazing for devops, still not fully fleshed out for mainstream use when I took a look. Interested in how far they've come in 6 months!

Ha when did he post that? I didn't see it anywhere. I played with it a little, but I use LXC mostly. I think it's kind of a best of both worlds.

Apparently 2 years ago..... my browser was going to post 256 instead of the end when it brought up the thread
Edit: fixed my Freudian slip!

Going to talk to OC tomorrow, I think. Trying to get this worked out and see if someone can step in.

I read through the OC9 thread and almost lost my eyebrows
Hopefully you lot can hug it out and resolve the issues.

Just finished some Server / Host updates. Two VM Hosts, and about a dozen VMs updated and restarted. Took just an hour to complete.
See ya in the am for coffee...

Check out Pydio. It looks like a decent alternative.
