What Are You Doing Right Now

I wish that someone would make something that is nearly the Raspberry Pi but with a Tegra X1 and 4GB of RAM.

I'd just be happy with a Raspberry Pie.

So I called the company I was supposed to start with yesterday to let them know I won't be taking the job and starting on Monday. The HR lady didn't answer, so I left a voicemail and explained everything. I haven't heard anything from her yet. Would an email suffice tomorrow morning, or do I need to call again?
It seems like there are a couple possibilities here. 1. She's not in this week or the last couple days (but you would think she would change her voicemail to show that). 2. She was sick and hasn't got it yet. 3. She's mad that I backed out and just didn't return my call (this may seem ridiculous but it's a small company and she seemed like she would take that kind of thing personally).
I just don't want to be unprofessional about it.

Follow it up for sure, and just say "I just wanted to make sure I had a chance to tell you in person" - it's what I've done everytime and they always seem to appreciate it

Why are you expecting to hear from her? If I was her, I probably wouldn't bother calling you back, what would I have to say? As you say, you've explained everything in the voicemail - what more is there to discuss?

I agree, I'd say there is a decent chance that she would call back, but a very good one that she won't at all.

Trying to figure out just why he's asking this...He says he wants to be convenient...by spending more time and effort trying to find one that will install without the need to install drivers...and therefore wasting more time than he'd ever save, and being less convenient and efficient...
Or is that just me..?

Thanks guys. I was just trying to avoid Monday getting here and getting a call from them asking where I am.

Homeschool time.

His requirement is convenience. Plugging in a USB or installing drivers by clicking install isn't convenient enough.

yet wasting 25+ mins chatting crap on a forum, and spending far more time googling the issue/searching for a card that will enable that (total time 1 hour+) is totally more convenient than just doing it the easy way, taking 2-3 more minutes than a 100% foolproof plug and play one...?
Plus how is installing it the easy was not convenient..? Convenience is about doing it the easiest way possible...
Urgh, I'm off to punch a user.

I could drive to WalMart, buy one, come back, and plug it in, in the time it's taken him to get this far.
