We had 6 more inches of snow this morning, followed by mid 30's temps...
It's decently warm down here.
compared to our -20's last week, this morning's 17F was nice... Today's high 40's
We are going to be in the soup for the next three days of nice temps and massive melting snow piles. Then followed by four more days of sub 32F days.

Spectrum tried to do an change to static IP in the middle of the day for a clinic and their router (not their modem) which is required for static IP addresses, failed. So... now they can't provision anything. Oops.

why do you seem so confused?
I use my personal Cell phone, and they pay me half of my bill every month. I collect 3 months at a time typically in the 2nd month. -

So they didn't check the equipment before they attempted to provision and they took the clinic offline for a couple of hours.

yeah, we have to fill out an expense report for any time we get money from the company outside of our pay checks.. IDK man, I didn't think it was that weird.

Exactly - show one bill and just pay half that, company is done.

It's not weird, it's just added overhead that the company has to pay and account for. 15 minutes x # number of employees per month filling out a repeat expense report.
Edit: My employer has us do this as well.

Sadly - it's not, just unnecessary for a reoccuring expense like that.
Hell, they should just make it SUPER easy and just pay a specific amount regardless of your cost.. .like $50/m period... then they don't need any paperwork from you.

Yeah, You would expect. but they require this anytime we get money. regardless if it's reoccurring or not.

Yeah it must have to do with accounting for state taxes or direct to customer billing sorts of things.
At least in my case it appears to be a matter of direct to customer billing (my employer floats the customer) but pays me direct for an cost of working for them sort of thing.

I just checked with them, and we do this too. the flat rate just so happens to be half of my bill. but it's still required to fill out the expense form, for Tracking is what I was told. that's all corporate stuff though .

LOL - more like it's a loophole to keep from paying it - you forget to submit the paperwork and they don't pay you...
they could easily put this into their payroll system as an auto pay thing.

probably. I wasn't told about it for my first 9 months of employment, and they paid the entire 9 months back to me, so now I keep up on it.
