Obviously drinking from a flask during an interview (with hr and whoever) is going to be totally subjective based on the audience

" hello president of X company, would you like a pull from my Flask? "

That'll land me a job for sure.

I've definitely gotten a job after doing shots with the future boss.

      after the interview? absolutely

      more... instead of.

instead of an interview, take shots with future boss?

      Yes

Oh, I see. I wouldn't do it during the interview unless it was in person and it was the place and time to do it.

If it isn't in person, might make even more sense!

Mine have been video interviews mostly. I'm not going to sit on camera at home drinking while potential future boss is sitting at work watching me lol.

I think I'm rare here, but video interviews for me have been like... once. And it was a formality after I'd already been in and met more senior people and already basically been offered the position.

It's either video or phone for me. Not going to spend $6k to fly me out based on resume alone. Personally, I prefer video over phone. It's easier to talk for me then. Phone is more weird because I feel pressured to not have a bit of silence. But on video, it comes more naturally.

Though, I've had exceedingly great ones of each.

Mine is normally phone or flight. The video step just never seems to happen.

Same. I've had a couple recruiters want to do a Skype with me, and I've always said no. They aren't even potential employer so not sure why they want to Skype

I usually listened to some slow jams and love ballads before an interview.

I'm getting ready to apply to a new company with a much better position.

Here is my resume prior to sending this out to them .

could you read through it and tell me what you think before I send this in to the hiring manager?

Your resume should be tailored to that specific job. Can't tell much without seeing the ad and job description. Who knows what the position you're going to apply for is and if it's a good match for the skills and experience you list.
You should begin with fixing typos first though..

personal labs isn't a proper noun, I wouldn't capitalize it unless you are referring to a product called "Personal Labs".

Your resume should be tailored to that specific job. Can't tell much without seeing the ad and job description. Who knows what the position you're going to apply for is and if it's a good match for the skills and experience you list.
You should begin with fixing typos first though..

                                            fixed the solutions typo.
                                            are there any other ones?

personal labs isn't a proper noun, I wouldn't capitalize it unless you are referring to a product called "Personal Labs".

                                            fixed that.
