Fanvil Opus Codec Support in X4G and X5S Phones

Also would like to know... the QR Code for Mobile management is okay, but is there a way to access the device's interface from a normal web browser? Managing phones from a mobile phone isn't an option outside of a home deployment.

@scottalanmiller I would assume it has to support standard web browsers accessing the phone via IP address and that the "QR Code" is just a feature they chose to advertise.
For under $70 it would be a cheap and simple device to test in the office.

That's my hope.

Yeah, definitely thinking about just ordering one. An extra phone is never a bad thing.

This is Jason from Fanvil
Currently, X4G doesn't support Opus, but X5S, X6, X7C, X7, X210 all of them support Opus.

@Jason-Liu : Hi Jason, thanks for replying here! Do the phones provide a standard web interface for configuration/management or is one limited to using the mobile app?
-
The X5S looks pretty impressive for just $68 on Amazon. No much need for the cheaper X4G as the price is so close.

The Fanvil phones have been on my list of things to buy and test for more than a year now.
Just no time.
