Looking for a chromebook, just for the Internet access. The users are not tech savy at all and are not apart of my domain. We have a guest wifi the chromebook can connect to. They will not be used constantly and will not be leaving the building.

      RAM: 8-16 GB
      Storage: 128-256 GB

I can order from PCM, CDW, and Amazon Business. Any suggestions?

@NerdyDad Does this have to be laptop-like?

@IRJ I agree. That is why I suggested more of the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. And that might even be overkill.

@wirestyle22 It would be preferential so that we don't have to setup monitors, keyboards, and mice for everybody.

@NerdyDad If it's only for web access I'd just order minimal specs. How many are you ordering? The protection plans from Dell are actually great. I had a customer awhile ago that was an intermediate school who broke them constantly and probably 5 a week needed to go out for repair. Very reasonable price imo.

One thing I did forget to mention was 15" screen size because some of these people can't see real well.

@NerdyDad Both HP and Dell make what you are looking for. I'd stick with them just based on my experience. Hope yopu find what you are looking for.

Yeah definitely overkill. 2GB and 20GB space is probably sufficient for an internet kiosk chromebook 😉

This one looks good for a loaner laptop since it is water resistant and rugged for $200

Yeah that looks good as well. I think 16GB space will be enough it is just an internet kiosk.

I was mentioned more for the "for the kids" comment above.

Though I think their BF deals are already live and shipping.
