Yes, it is a real thing, a pill that you take that puts a sensor in your gut that allows you to track fart development from your cell phone. This is 2018 people, the future is finally here.

To be fair, if I could swallow a pill instead of getting things checked the normal way, I'd be all about it.

Looking at the diagram, it seems it should be perfectly fine to swallow a capsule containing batteries with only a gas permeable membrane between the batteries and your insides.

I so need a fart tracker. It would be extra good if it had an early warning system built in.
