Skrooge vs GNuCash

I'm quite interested in reading this thread.

GNUCash has been around for a long time, and only takes a bit to get setup and going. Skrooge on the other hand appears to have better reporting.
Skrooge has been around with 2009 and seems to have fallen off of the development end a bit.
GNUCash was release in 1998 and is still under development.
Neither have an online version.

Why not look at accounting suites online? Didn't we have a thread about this previously?

Was there, I honestly don't recall.
Really just need a simple way to create budgets, not a full suite. Not sure if that matters.

Well full double entry accounting in GNUCash is not simple.
Wave is about as simple as it gets. However their interface seems slower every time I use it.

I haven't been on ML that long and I've seen the thread before.

Why not Wave?
