Watching Dark Matter and Wynonna Earp on Syfy.
Finished Dark Matter:S2 the other day,.. know that S3 is on air currently, but missed recording till now. Will have to see if it's available in On-Demand.
Amazon Prime and NetFlix don't seem to have The Expanse - wanted to see what that was about. But otherwise starting to run out of things to watch.

I like Dark Matter - but it's more popcorn Sci Fi, not really serious.
The Expanse is much more serious a Sci Fi show - I enjoy it..

Amazon Prime has Season 1 of the Expanse.

@gjacobse Prime has 4 seasons of Orphan Black. Is about human cloning, self directed evolution, etc.

I'm watching Prometheus atm.

Just did a DirecTV switch. Our contract was up so we could get rid of it. But Dad-In-Law has a contract, but is living with us instead of his house. So we moved his equipment from his house to ours to finish out his contract. From 3 phone calls, we went from being free and clear of a contract, to having 6 months to go on the contract, to having to wait until next May to be out of the contract. After that, I'm going to be looking at Sling.tv. I don't trust DirecTV anymore as they keep changing their story on me.
As for Netflix, watching Fuller House and Enterprise.

I've been using a Channel Master DVR+ (16GB edition) with an external 1TB along with SlingTV. Initial investment was a little over $300, and then the monthly cost of slingtv which comes in around $30/month.

That's awesome. Setting up a PLEX server and getting an HDHomeRun converter is in my road map for my KVM server in the future, along with a FreePBX server and NextCloud. Just don't have time or a place for it yet.

I watched Guradians 2 and Wonder Woman last weekend.
Both were great. I didnt like Guardians 1, but the sequel was much better.
And Wonder Woman = wow -

Wow - that's a first - what didn't you like about Guardians 1? I thought the sequel was OK, but if the first was 100%, it was like 75%

I think i have a comment earlier in this thread(like way back) i thought it was generic and predictable. Ill have to watch it again though, perhaps i wasnt paying attention. The sequel had great jokes, and Kurt Russell(one of my favorite actors since i was a kid).

@wirestyle22 Enjoying it so far! The writing, acting, production are all quite solid. Adhering to the text in many things but making some departures. A character that gets one scene in the book has become an ongoing thing.
The scenes that feature violence are largely in cartoon mode which some might find off putting. There are buckets of blood being sloshed around. A guy gets kicked in the junk and his skull/spine fly out.
There's only one scene so far that I really found to be off-putting. Looking forward to the rest!

THe upside is that they slap a bit "generic and predictable" warning label on it so that you know that's what you are getting. It's an industry standard labeling scheme. It looks like this...
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

I'll go to a Marvel movie over a DC movie any day. Even if a Marvel movie wasn't showing and I had the choice between DC and something else, I'd probably go with the something else.
