Splitting one display into two virtual displays

DisplayFusion is what I've used in the past, it's worked well enough.

Display fusion doesn't do what he's wanting though. It looks to me like he wants to take one screen and split it into two monitors.

I'm curious, how does treating one display help? What benefit do you get?

I think it does as well when I am reading the features. Window management is essentially what I am looking for.
$12.50 is better than $19. They both have a trial so I can test.

I didn't see that in the feature list... but that is quite a big feature list! I've used DisplayFusion Free a bit, and it is rather nice.
I'm currently using Dexpot (http://www.dexpot.de) on a single screen.

Dense much? It gives you discrete real estate for your windows.
It is much easier to maximize a window on a fixed display than to actually manage window sizing for everything.

Windows built split screen windowing in in Windows 8, so I'm still not really sure what you're on about.
But if you have a 40" single screen, yeah I do like the behavior of a dual screens instead of just a single one.

Just much easier to drag and expand various windows. I also like the fact that DF let's you change, remove, or add additional displays on the fly.
