Traveling from Chicago
-
I have been planning to drive from Chicago on Wednesday morning and then leave mid morning on Saturday to return.
Anyone even close to on the way want to share the ride?

I'm close to on your drive, but I have to head home Friday

Well with no one coming form this area I don't want to drive, but flights are stupidly priced.

The train isn't horrible from that direction.

I can use airline miles to fly for <$100
But this is technically a work expense. I just hate the spend of $500 for such a basic flight.

Mine wasn't much cheaper and I booked 3 months ago.

Ug, it's so close. For the $150 it's worth not putting the miles on the car.. but then you'll have to find other transportation from the train station

In Rochester, I do not expect a problem.

SUper easy, lots of us around to pick someone up, it's very close. Or a taxi to the hotel is nothing. It's all just a few minutes away.

Train station is much closer than the airport. FIve minutes instead of ten.
-
@scottalanmiller Did you say there is no Uber or Lyft in Rochester?

Correct there are traditional taxis though.

Doesn't the hotel have a shuttle from the airport?

Yes.
And if anyone needs to know this, for my trip back to the airport I called and it starts at 4AM, but you have to sign up for it.
