Is there a better way than a "Repair" to fix a problem with a OneDrive and Sharepoint site that is not syncing?

The problem with Repair is that it simply dumps the entire local file set and redownloads it. I have users having odd issues where files will be changed and not upload correctly. A repair will obviously work. but then I will have to go back in and find the changed files from where the system moves copies the backup to.

The cause of this problem is unknown at this time, but I am working on that. A users can have their library completely in sync. Then change a single document and that document will not sync again.

This worked for me before the Onedrive change over so not sure it is still relevant but....

@Minion-Queen I found Did something very close to that yesterday. And the system was resyncing. This morning though it seems to have stopped and I did not want to try that again. This is probably getting into the root issue of why is stuff stopping.

Mmm, steak fries! Feel free to sync those over to my house.

How many files are being synced?

@JaredBusch I had a bunch of those x's but mine were due to un-allowed file types. I zipped up the folders, deleted the original, sync working fine. Not sure what your issue is.

She has 3k or so files. no where close to the 20k limit. Another user does have more than 20k. I taught him how to create zip archives.
