They have mentioned that upgrades will be possible. But that XS only know about XS configurations, so third party software will not be migrated with it.

I wonder what the VM migration process will be. If you have have 6.5 and 7.0 in the same pool then installing a clean hypervisor and Dom0 would make the most sense.

I wonder if you could rolling pool upgrade to 7.0
I wonder how this would effect @halizard configurations...

It's the Beta 3, not the Alpha.
