      Still though, 4.5 years isn't that long. Considering it too almost 2 just to get from XS 6.2 to 6.5. But all this is moot anyway. I didn't realize Dundee was built on 7.

      7 on 7 🙂 There is really no way that they could not jump to 7 with the 7 release of XS.

      Don't forget that the stagnation in the 6.2 era was because of the Citrix to Linux handoff.

          I'm curious if we'll be able to perform a system upgrade when 7 drops, or if a clean installation is the only viable option.

            They have mentioned that upgrades will be possible. But that XS only know about XS configurations, so third party software will not be migrated with it.

                  I wonder what the VM migration process will be. If you have have 6.5 and 7.0 in the same pool then installing a clean hypervisor and Dom0 would make the most sense.
