it comes back if you refresh the page, but that is a longstanding issue
bug report filed ages ago on it.
Ya that's what I was after. I didn't know if I missed a setting somewhere to remove it permanently. Oh well, not that annoying.
No, it just sucks.
Disable the notifications plug in then. Make most of us (read: me) happier. Screw the rest of them. (note /wtb emoji)
I think that I agree. Is anyone really making use of the notifications? I always disable it but I would hate to leave people with nothing to tell them when things happen.

The little red number is what I follow in my browser tab. Works great 95% of the time.

Good news, "Boaty McBoatface" may very well be the name of the new CERN polar research vessel. That's what you get for having the internet name your stuff.

They are actually considering allowing it? They really need to, not taking it was ridiculous.

It was the most recommended name in the poll that closed last week (I think).

yes, that we knew. That was news weeks ago. But the government said that they wouldn't allow it so the poll was pointless.

Oh, I see I was reading the announcement this morning about the poll. I also read that the UK insisted that the public didn't have final say in the name. Agreed though, they should use that name.

Yup, the poll was pretty much a farce and backfired. People have been upset about voting and getting ignored for weeks now.

Now see, that's not going to do anything but piss @wirestyle22 off more and make him work out that much harder... On the brighter side... he can feel free to knock back a few after he gets done exercising -- I mean relieving his agression.

Staging is a nice thing to use. Plus also we don't delete anything in production, we move it only, to be deleted later.
