What does Evernote do better than OneNote? OneNote is now free.

        It is?

        I believe so, yes.

First of all, Outlook is so much faster than OWA. People tried to convince my OWA was just as fast. No way. I can blow through stuff so much faster in Outlook.

Sadly, I've found this to be true in OWA as well - But really I think my issue is my 10 Mb internet connection more than anything.

Part of it is also not being able to display as much e-mail because of the way OWA spaces it.

                  Haha, no I am not.

I mean that instead of seeing 20 messages at a time, I can see 40. It makes things much quicker.

If you want whiny, I have my kids here at work today. I'll upload a video.

I'll go with @Dashrender on this one. If you have such a need to see tons of subject lines at once, you are doing email wrong.

Tough crowd. I can't even read e-mail properly.

You are implying, by saying you need to see so much at once, that you have so much much inbound email that you need to be able to see large chunks of it quickly in order to process priority and such.

So yes, this means you are doing email wrong. Your inbox should be smart enough to handle the basics for you. In my case, that is a LOT of system emails. There are rules made for all of it. As long as the email is "normal" a rule will move it to some folder for me to look at later if I am ever questioned about an event. But I do not need to see the email.

Similar for email from IT communities I participate in. Mostly, I have all email flat disabled. but for a few that I get email from there are rules for it. This stuff should never land in my inbox.

My inbox is important. It should not be full of shit.

She is giggling over my shoulder at that one. Then she said "Yeah, that's true." Then she punched me.

If I'm ever at an Exchange shop I pray that pop/imap is enabled and I feed messages into Gmail. (otherwise forward all tends to work but isn't as nice). Luckily I've only been at 1 using Exchange in the last 6 and they did have it enabled.

                                  As I said, tough crowd.

It's one of the hardest things, but I try not to judge people in life. Which includes not judging people who judge people.

I don't use folders or rules much any more in Outlook. I mostly have everything in my massive Inbox. I have recently got into colour coding my e-mail though, which I really like. Productivity is a bit of an obsession of mine, so I'm definitely not doing it wrong. Everyone is different and it's about finding what works for you.

                                      I judge you all though!

                                        That's the most important part.

Most of this "wrong usage" of my e-mail comes into play with my Clutter (a feature which I like) and Junk folders.

Just a quick (even quicker) look through them to make sure nothing important filtered in.
