Anyone tried Priority Mail Express 1-Day before? I mailed something from here (VA) to Nevada yesterday morning.. guaranteed delivery by 3pm today. Granted it's not 3pm still but I haven't seen any action on it besides leaving the local sort facility so I'm wondering if it will get there. They supposedly refund if it's late so you'd think it would be on time.. but they may just have a refund loophole.

Is this service from USPS, if so, their tracking sucks, i've seen it show still not delivered even though the item is in my hand.

Yep USPS.. There tracking isn't bad around here they are very good about scanning. But I think other places may not be.

            This, and often days later.

yeah - won't be worried about it.. even if it's scanned their system is so messed up you still might not get the notices for days. I think the worst was well over a week later.

One time I receive a package at 8pm from a sedan car.. who clearly not a USPS vehicle. Just be patient.

Package didn't make it. USPS won't honor the guarantee either. They say because I bought online they won't refund in the PO. Online it says you can't do it there and must do it and the post office.

I guess that's how they get out of refunds.. offer no way to file them.

I've got 2 great stories about how things go so much more horribly wrong with USPS than UPS/FEDEX.

                        1. Work shipped a package to a town less than an hour away. Package showed up 6 months latter. After 2 weeks USPS was saying they won't pay the insurance because the package wasn't lost.... yet couldn't tell us where the package actually was. I've always wondered if it got put in a shipping container and shipped across an ocean. Anyhow, after 3 months we finally forced them to pay up.

                        2. Just this past week, they lost a package of FLASH PAPER!!! Yep, that's right. One of the local USPS offices now has an envelop full of the most flammable stuff I've ever worked with just sitting around, and non of the employees were at all concerned about that fact. If I hear of a Post Office burning down, I'll be sure to let you all know.

Well it was a return for a broken item. The company I returned it to have me credit back for the shipping costs ($130) plus USPS gave me a money order today to refund the shipping for being late haha

I also love the tracking that shows delivered on Sunday for an Amazon package that I don't end up getting until Monday. Then I am looking on my neighbors' porches and can't find it.

@Jason I didn't know USPS would ever do that. Good to know.
